Ice resurfacers, also known as Zambonis, are essential machines in the maintenance and upkeep of ice rinks. These specialized vehicles play a crucial role in ensuring the ice surface remains smooth, pristine, and safe for skaters.
Equipped with a powerful blade, the resurfacer efficiently shaves off a thin layer of the ice, removing imperfections, cuts, and accumulated snow. Simultaneously, the resurfacer releases a mixture of hot water and a special ice resurfacing solution onto the freshly shaved ice.
